Project Overview
Marvinchi Gold Mountain at Central City is a planned unit development design to provide uses complementary to current development in Central city and in Blackhawk, primarily in order to fill the demand for housing and services created by recent growth of the gambling industry. There is currently a severe shortage of available “beds” to support the industry, both in terms of hotel rooms for visitors and in apartment units, townhouse units and single-family residential units for local employees. The proposed development will also provide needed commercial/office and retail space to support the projected residential area as well as the existing gambling community. The value proposed is based on the property being annexed and zoned.
